Meet Julie Swanger
On Cue Dog Training's Trainer Julie Swanger with her dog Ginger

Hi I'm Julie Swanger and in the year 2000 I began a career as a dental assistant, although it was a great career I decided after five years to leave dentistry. I always loved animals growing up so in 2006 I bought my dog, Ginger, and took a training class with a local trainer and that was where my passion began.

I went to school and got my accreditation through Penn Foster in 2006 and did some training classes at PetSmart and also Managed Club Fido DayCare for two years. I then decided to go out on my own and started On Cue Dog Training and DayCamp. I have helped many owners and their dogs bond through positive reward based training. I also decided to open a DayCamp for dogs to come and play while their owners worked. I have an indoor dog room with climbing equipment, an outdoor play (weather permitting and on leash), and I also take the dogs for walks. I am also a member of APDT.

In 2009 I began competing with my dog Ginger in agility. At her second show Ginger earned her first title. It began a whole new page of my career and I hope to help more owners and their dogs. So if you are looking for some basic obedience, want to give agility a try, or bring your dog over for a day of socialization and play; contact me and I will help you get started on the path to building a long lasting bond with your dog through fun and positive training.
