I offer group classes of 6 dogs or less to ensure each team gets ample attention. I also offer private and in-home training serving the greater Lebanon area. A variety of classes are available on weekdays, weeknights, and also on weekends to accommodate busy schedules. Group classes are an hour in length and run for 6 weeks (unless noted in the class description below), and will be held at my new location. To enroll in a training class, please fill out the class registration form and return it to Julie.

Classes:

• Puppy/ AKC Puppy S.T.A.R. Education

  This class will provide you with the basic skills that you will need to know in order to train your new puppy or dog. We will discuss potty training, nutrition and health issues. This is a "positive reward" based class that teaches your dog what you want them to learn. We will also teach you how to avoid the behaviors you don’t want. Pre-requisite: dog must be < 1 year old.
  
  

• Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Training (Obedience)

  Beginner obedience is similar to puppy education, but the dog is at least one year old. In Intermediate and Advance training, the class will build on the puppy/beginner class, plus add distractions to make it more solid. You will also learn how to heel with your dog.
  
  

• Focus Classes

  This class is designed to have you and your dog participate together, while focusing on a particular behavior pattern that you want to improve (e.g. loose leash walking, recalls, jumping on people, etc.). This class will be based on the dog's need to acquire special behavior skills. This class runs for 2 weeks.
  
  

• Canine Good Citizen® (CGC)

  AKC's Canine Good Citizen® program recognizes dogs, mixed or purebred, with good manners. If you are interested in having your dog perform therapy work, then this is a great pre-requisite for the Therapy Dog International class. Pre-requisite: Basic Obedience.
  
  

• KPETS

  If you are interested in your dog performing therapy work, then this training is specifically designed for the two of you. This class will focus on the skills required for KPETS.
  
  

• 4 Fun Agility

  This class provides a low impact introduction to agility for dogs over 6 months old. It introduces the handler and dog to jumps, tunnels, and basic skills used in agility. Dogs should have some basic obedience prior to taking this class.
  
  

• 4 Fun Rally-O

  A class to introduce handler and dog to AKC Rally®, which requires teamwork between handler and dog to perform 10 to 20 obedience commands in a sequence.
